Terms and Conditions
BioPay is a face-to-USSD lookup and payment-routing service operated by Okanisa. These terms govern both the existing Flutter mobile app and the separate BioPay PWA hosted on the public web.
1. Service scope
BioPay helps users identify the right payee profile, compose a pre-filled Mobile Money route, and launch that flow from approved interfaces. BioPay does not hold balances, custody funds, or replace the underlying Mobile Money provider.
2. Eligibility and responsibilities
You may use BioPay only if you are legally able to form a binding agreement and are authorized to enroll the face data, payee information, or payment routes you submit. You are responsible for the accuracy of your data and for verifying the final payee and USSD path before authorizing payment.
3. Acceptable use
You may not impersonate another person, enroll data without lawful authority, probe or overload the service, bypass security controls, reverse engineer restricted platform components, or use BioPay for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
4. Biometric and payment disclaimers
Face matching is probabilistic and may require retries or alternate payment flows. The PWA is designed as a companion surface focused on quick-pay, installability, and offline resilience; it does not replace the transaction-heavy Flutter runtime where that remains the better experience.
5. Suspension, changes, and availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service to improve reliability, comply with law, address platform risks, or protect users. BioPay is provided on an “as available” basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted compatibility across every device or browser.
